As the image shows, this is a far more likely mode of operation for conventional forces, rather than Special Operations forces like Delta Force, as such a landing requires an uncontested or at least semi-permissive environment on the ground. While a unit like Delta Force may disembark in this manner for insertions into areas for long-range patrols, it is highly unlikely that such a mode of disembarkation would be utilized for insertion into a hostile landing zone or for a raid like the Delta Force raid that led to the capture of Nicolas Maduro and his wife.
